After a series of poster launches, the film's makers nveiled the first teaser trailer of the film on Diwali.
The team recently unveiled the trailer of the film on 23 October with these words "A stranger in a city, asks questions nobody has ever asked before. Known only by his initials, PK’s child like curiosity takes him on an interesting journey of friendship, adventure, laughter and love."
In the teaser shows Aamir Khan in different attires and in different situations. The background voice calls his character as ‘namoona’ who loves ‘paan’ (betel) and is mesmerized by the world around him. PK is shown as a happy-go-lucky person who steals clothes of people busy in making out.At the end of the teaser, Aamir completely nude with nothing but just a transistor to cover his modesty.
Talking about the film, Aamir said: "Like Raj Kumar's other films even this film will have a strong message. This is the toughest role of my career. I have hardly blinked in this film because of my character".
"I can't reveal much as the crux of the story will get revealed. There are lot of rumours. People feel that I am playing a double role, some feel I am playing an alien but wait till the film releases," he added.
