The trailer of Vikas Bahl's upcoming film Shaandaar came out. Directed by Vikas Bahl and Produced by Dharma Productions along with Phantom Films "Shaandaar", promises to be the craziest event of the year.
The film seems to be totally shaandaar (Fabulous) and The Times of India described it's as "India's first destination wedding film". In the movie Shahid Kapoor plays Jagjinder Joginder, a wedding organiser, while Alia Bhatt plays a bubbly character as Aila Aliya. The story revolves around Alia's elder sister's wedding, where Joginder is the wedding planner, and we are shown snippets of the crazy family during an even crazier wedding journey. Pretty much like a big-budget Band Baaja Baraat.
The real-life father-son duo has been working in films for years now, but this is the first time that they (Pankaj Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor) will be seen together on the 70 mm screen. Alia will sport a bikini for the second time in Shaandaar after first flaunting it for Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt said that she worked very hard for her bikini scene in the Vikas Bahl-directed movie.
